New Ageing range for cats!

|
|
At seven years, most owners will not notice any signs of ageing,
although this is when the process starts at cellular level.
Following intensive studies, Royal Canin is launching a new range
of six new foods for cats over the age of 7 and 12 years which
responds precisely to their nutritional needs, helping them grow
old gracefully.
-
Indoor +7, helps maintain coat beauty and shine for
mostly indoors cats
-
Outdoor +7, helps active cats keep on the move
-
Sterilised +7 helps maintain ideal weight in
sterilised cats
- For owners who prefer to feed wet food
Instinctive +7 offers all the same benefits in chunks
in gravy.
At 11 or 12 years of age, the ageing process
is much more noticeable. Cats now slow down, sleep more, may
have difficulty jumping up or grooming themselves, are likely to
lose their appetite and will digest nutrients much less
efficiently. Ageing +12 provides extremely
palatable, ultra-high quality, easily digestible nutrients in
two formats:

Get your fussy cat to take the taste
test!

Our new Exigent range is designed to satisfy every cat, even the
pickiest. The trick is that your cat gets to do the taste testing -
and makes their own choice from one of three ultra-tasty foods.
Whether your cat is instinctively driven to choose Aromatic Attraction, Savour Sensation or Protein Preference shows the way your cat
chooses their food. Our trial pack means you can conduct your own
taste test at home, and then, guided by your cat, buy their choice
in larger packs, knowing it’s what they would choose.
Look out for the trial packs in stores from early 2010 at the
irresistible price of £1.99 for six days worth of food. Find your nearest Exigent stockist here. Each
pack has its own code - if you register online and enter
the code, you’ll get a free 400g bag of your cat’s choice!

New tailor made nutrition for the French
Bulldog
|
 |
The little French Bulldog - with his muscular physique and
brachycephalic face shape - has very unique nutritional needs. This
loyal breed has very powerful muscles for his small frame, and
needs regular exercise. New French Bulldog
26 has optimal protein content (26%) to help
maintain muscle mass and chondroitin and glucosamine help support
joints.
French Bulldog owners will know that this breed can be prone to
issues with flatulence. French Bulldog 26 has been developed to
help reduce intestinal fermentation, which in turn can
help reduce the incidence of flatulence and smelly stools.
Due to his short head, with an upper jaw shorter than the lower
one, the French Bulldog can find it hard to pick up his kibble. Our
specially developed kibble not only improves ease of grasp, it also
helps encourage him to crunch, aiding dental
hygiene. |

New specific nutrition for Dalmatians
|
 |
With his legendary spotted coat, the Dalmatian certainly stands
out. As well as a distinctive appearance, he also has very specific
nutritional needs.
Dalmatians are prone to producing excess uric acid, increasing
their risk of forming urate stones. To combat this, they benefit
from a diet low in purine, which can help reduce the excretion of
uric acid and in turn the risk of developing urate stones. Their
spotted coat also needs special attention and B vitamins plus EPA
and DHA in Dalmatian 22 both help to
reinforce the skin’s barrier role and reduce the risk of skin
irritation.
L-carnitine and taurine in the diet help support good heart
muscle function, while phenylalanine and tyrosine help to optimise
the intensity of coat colour.
