Royal Canin release 6 new tailor-made breed foods for dogs

Cavalier King Charles Spaniels,
Chihuahuas,
Cocker Spaniels,
Golden Retrievers,
Miniature Schnauzers and
Rottweilers are the six latest breeds to have their ‘own’ food
in Royal Canin’s Breed Nutrition range. All popular breeds, they
also have some very specific health and nutritional needs – for
example, a Golden Retriever is not just a Labrador with long
hair!
The Goldie’s long, dense coat often leads to dermatological
problems, and the breed is also prone to weight gain, so Royal
Canin Golden Retriever is designed with these problems in mind. The
Cocker Spaniel food (for both English and American types) addresses
weight maintenance and skin and coat care. Skin, coat, dental and
cardiac issues are the main focus for the Cavalier King Charles.
The Chihuahua’s picky appetite, tendency to dental problems linked
to a small jaw, and propensity to cardiac problems are focussed on,
while Miniature Schnauzer helps address the breed’s tendency to
urinary calculi (stones), sensitive skin and coat, and dental
care.
Royal Canin was the first pet food manufacturer to offer
breed-specific foods tailored to the needs of some of the most
popular breeds, and now caters for 17 dog breeds and 3 cat breeds!
They are all available from good pet shops throughout the UK, with
prices starting at £7.99 depending on pack size and breed. To find
your nearest stockist, use the Royal
Canin stockist search, or phone the helpline on 0845 300
