Hepatic Dry

Hepatic is for the nutritional management of:

- Chronic hepatitis

- Portosystemic shunt

- Hepatic encephalopathy

- Liver failure

- Piroplasmosis

- Jaundice

- Copper metabolism disorders

Not recommended in cases of:

- Pregnancy, lactation, growth

- Pancreatitis or history of pancreatitis

- Hyperlipidaemia

A low copper with increased zinc content minimises copper accumulation in the hepatocytes.

The synergistic antioxidant complex helps neutralise the free radicals produced during the disease process and supports health of hepatocytes.

A limited sodium intake decreases portal hypertension and reduces extravascular water flow.

High energy provided from fat avoids excessive protein catabolism, a risk factor for the onset or progression of hepatic encephalopathy.
