Royal Canin Feline Satiety Support Cat Food

Veterinary diets are formulated for the nutritional support of cats with specific clinical conditions and are recommended to be used under veterinary advice. For more information on feeding Obesity Management Wet to your cat, please consult your veterinary surgeon.

 

Satiety Support is for the nutritional management of: 

- Obesity

- Diabetus mellitus type II

 

Not recommended in cases of: 

- Pregnancy, lactation, growth

 

Feeding duration

Prior to prescribing, individual target weight should be determined. The energy allowance (kcal) per kg target bodyweight is based on the cat’s body condition score (BCS) (ie. 30 kcal/kg BW for a BCS of 3.5 or 4.0 and 35 kcal/kg BW for a BCS of 4.5 or 5.0). If the cat refuses to eat or loses weight too rapidly, there may be a risk of hepatic lipidosis.
